Refund policy
Eligibility for Refunds
We accept refund requests for products purchased from GadgetGarten within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be:
- Unused and in the original packaging
- In the same condition as when you received it
- Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
Certain products (e.g., opened software or personalized keycaps) may not be eligible for refunds unless defective.
How to Initiate a Refund
- Contact our customer support team via email at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
- You will receive return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Package the item securely with the RMA number clearly visible
- Ship the item back to our warehouse using a trackable shipping method
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5 business days), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective mouse, keyboard, or keycap:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage
- We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you
- In some cases, we may require return of the defective item
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund after 15 business days:
- Check your bank account again (some processing times may vary)
- Contact your credit card company as processing times vary
- If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, please contact us
Exchanges
We currently only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange for the same item, indicate this when requesting your return.
International Returns
For international customers:
- You will be responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
- Refunds will be processed in USD and may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations
- Please allow additional time for international returns to be processed
